Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Adopt Baby Girl: “And Then There Were 3”

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Adopt Baby Girl: “And Then There Were 3”Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are stepping into a new chapter of life parenthood. The couple announced on Thursday, via a joint Instagram post, that they recently adopted a baby girl.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

They ended the message with a simple but touching note: “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

When asked for comment, Brown’s representative pointed ABC News back to the Instagram post, while a spokesperson for Bongiovi did not immediately respond.

The news comes a little over a year after the couple exchanged vows in May 2024 during a private ceremony, followed by a second wedding in Tuscany that September.

The pair later shared photos from their Italian celebration on Instagram. Brown captioned hers, “forever and always, your wife,” while Bongiovi posted, “forever and always, your husband.”

Back in March, Brown spoke candidly about her dream of becoming a mother. “My mom had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. It’s something I’ve wanted since before I met Jake,” the Stranger Things actress said on the Smartless podcast. “Even as a child, with baby dolls, I always told my mom I wanted to be a mom just like her.”

She went on to explain how her grandmother also influenced her desire for family life. “My nan was such a big part of my life. Jake knows how much this means to me. While I’m focused on my career as an actor and producer, starting a family has always been just as important for me personally.”

According to Brown, Bongiovi wanted to wait until marriage before having children. “Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ That was his thing,” she shared. “We both come from big families I’m one of four, he’s one of four so kids were definitely part of our future.”

Brown also spoke about adoption, saying it felt no different than having biological children.

“I don’t see adopting as being any different,” she said. “For me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything. That’s what Jake and I stand by the energy in our house is always, ‘The door is open.’”
